– We should considered them as a marginal entry due to the strong Blues driven Hard Rock core of their music that goes well into the early Metal fields and then comes back again.
– Formed in 1977 as “Buster Hymen & The Penetrations”
– Through the years they supported Thin Lizzy, Girlschool, Rose Tattoo and others
– The Penetrations have been through big periods of hiatus with their members playing in various other local bands.
– In recent years they are frequently playing the pub circuit and they also appear at various festivals throughout Scotland.
