– Perhaps the only exception of a non-British band that is featured here. The main members Par Ericsson and Bengt Fischer (EF) are Swedish. The band moved to the UK in 1979, had British musicians amongs its ranks and has been considered as part of the NWOBHM movement ever since
– The band’s manager, Andy Goodwin said in an interview that Lars Ulrich had send a letter to the E.F. Band’s Information Club offering his services as a drummer sortly after the release of their “Last Laugh Is On You” album in 1981.
– Supported the European tours of Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow (1981) and Saxon (1982)
– Featured on “Metal For Muthas” (LP, EMI, 1980) with ‘Fighting For Rock And Roll’

Band guitarist and founder Bengt Fischer who died on April 5th 2001 due to cancer. Unfortunately he never saw his song released on this compilation as he also died by the same illness before its release.
