Notes:
– Known for their appearance on the compilation “New Electric Warriors” (LP, Logo Records, 1980) with the track ‘Holding Back Your Love’. This compilation later re-released on CD (British Steel, 1997)
– Up until 1977 they used the name Stax
– Supported Iron Maiden on June 12, 1980 at the Caird Hall in Dundee. They also supported UFO and generally they have been very active playing gigs. Colossus even won battle of the bands contests and headlined local festivals.
– Reformed sometime in the mid 1990’s with Steve Hart on vocals and played two gigs under the name Walk – Don’t Walk
– There have been a few tracks from Colossus both demo and live but none of the band members kept any of their tapes. Apparently they must have been saved by music enthousiasts.
